Bill payments

Pay for your utilities and other bills over the counter at your local PayPoint — just take a copy of your bill along with you.

From gas and electricity to TV licensing and media services, you can pay a wide range of bills at your local PayPoint store.

Just tell the retailer what you want to pay, hand over your bill, card or meter key and they'll do the rest. You'll get a receipt for every payment you make and your account will be credited the next working day. Please keep hold of your PayPoint receipt as a proof of purchase as we'll need the details for if you have any queries later on.

Simply visit any PayPoint store and buy your chosen voucher with cash at the till. Your receipt will include a voucher code which you can then redeem to make a purchase online.

Pay for parking

Cash Parking

You can pop into a PayPoint store and pay for your parking in cash at specific locations where PayByPhone is available. Check the signage on street for details and how to locate the nearest PayPoint store.

How it works

  • Check signage for details and how to locate your nearest PayPoint store.
  • Note down the PayByPhone location code where you have parked and your vehicle registration number.
  • Confirm the location code, your vehicle registration number and parking duration to the retailer.
  • A receipt will be provided for your reference.
  • No need to return to your car to display a ticket. And if you need more time in town, just pay for additional parking at any PayPoint store in the area.

Buy travel tickets or top up your transport smartcard for a range of travel operators at your local PayPoint store

Please check with your travel operator before buying tickets, as the PayPoint retailer may not know which ticket is valid for a particular route.

Renewing your TV Licence
Simply take your renewal letter into any PayPoint outlet to pay for your renewal. It's quick and easy to do.

Need a new TV Licence?
PayPoint outlets can issue you a new TV licence on the spot.

Want to pay your licence in cash throughout the year?
The TV Licensing Payment Card helps you pay for your TV Licence in regular weekly, fortnightly or monthly payments from around £5.60 per week. Apply for a payment card by calling 0300 555 0286. You’ll be sent a payment schedule showing how much to pay and when. You can then pay at any PayPoint outlet across the country.

You can pay for your TV Licence in cash or using a debit card. You should not be charged for this extra convenience.
