2: Bring your Lloyds, Halifax and Bank of Scotland banking app with you and the cash you'd like to deposit.
3. Lloyds, Halifax and Bank of Scotland customers create a deposit barcode in your mobile app and bring it to the store. The retailer will scan the barcode from your phone, take your cash and give you a receipt.
4. Collect your receipt. Your deposit should appear in your bank account within minutes, but always within 2 hours.

Counter cash is a PayPoint service that allows you to withdraw cash in-store at PayPoint locations without needing to make a purchase. You can withdraw any amount from 1p to £50 directly from the till.
Withdrawing cash in-store at PayPoint is completely free. There are no hidden fees, and you don't need to make a purchase to access your cash.
